Since becoming an esthetician I have slowed down my compulsive shopping (or so I like to think) and started really focusing on products that will last longer, show more results, and be a staple in my skincare routine. I am constantly looking for new skin and body care products that will add more convenience to my already hectic routine.
October was a hell of a month! I felt more stressed than ever and really leaned into my self-care, and self-love journey so that I could try my best to destress. I typically change or alter my products each quarter due to the seasons changing and my body needing new ingredients to keep it looking and feeling refreshed and sexy! Of these products listed, I have used almost all of October and have already seen improvements and or loved them once I used them!
Disclaimer: All the products I review are based on my own opinion.
1. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Ice Cooling Lip Luminizer: SPRINT…Do not walk to get this lip gloss. First, let me start by saying I am NOT the biggest fan of the Fenty Lip Heat line, but this Cooling line needs to extend ASAP! I am already in love with the Gloss Bomb in Glass Slipper…so I was skeptical about purchasing another clear gloss from the same brand, but thank God I did. This Gloss Bomb Ice in the shade Cold Heart'd is EVERYTHING. I love the smooth application that doesn't leave my lips too sticky, the instant cooling sensation is so hydrating, and the juicy lip look is to die for! This lip balm is the shit! Top 5 worthy!
2. Haus Labs by Lady Gaga Triclone Skin Tech Medium Coverage Foundation- I never thought I would see the day when I would not wear my go-to Nars Foundation….but the time has come. There was a lot of buzz surrounding this foundation due to its innovative formulation with Fermented Arnica- which helps to reduce redness and irritation, Intellizen 7 Complex-helps with healing and calming, and Bioferment 7 Complex- a blend of antioxidants that protect the skin from stress…this is music to an esthie’s ear, so I had to try it. Let's start with the amazing array of foundation shades (it was hard to pick a shade because I felt that multiple shades worked for me). The coverage was absolutely amazing and it stayed on even while performing facials under steam all day! You have to try this!
3 . Skin Script Eye Cream: I wish I could say that I didn't need one in my routine but I do! I tend to wake up with puffy under eyes that make me look extremely drowsy even though I got my full 8 hours. I started applying my eye cream and instantly noticed a difference, the creamy formulation helped my eyes look more awake and add radiance to my complexion. Under the eyes is the most fragile and sensitive area and it can be a little more irritable
4. Natrium- The Smoother Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Wash: Can you believe this is my first-ever exfoliating body wash? Back in High School, I would use Victoria’s Secret body washes and it would interfere with my intimate area pH so I only used Dove sensitive body wash I felt like my body deserved more of a umph so I tried the Natrium body wash and was instantly in love. It made my body feel incredibly soft and left it with a refreshing scent. I also love how my body looks afterward. I've been using it for a month now and have seen my body complexion become more even toned and some texture I get on my back and arms have disappeared!
5. Topicals Fade Cream- Once you get over the smell, the product itself is a game changer. I reviewed the ingredients and was like WOAH…this is impactful. I mainly started to use it on my bikini line area because I had some leftover scarring from ingrown hairs and a few stretch marks that have appeared in the last year so I thought this would be the perfect product to add to my body routine. So far I have already seen my scarring decrease and the texture improve. This is a new staple in my routine!
